) for the application to inland revenue i have decided to ask how i may prepare for the interview. some helpful hints any questions that i should be prepared for. salam. i shall be eagerly awaiting the replies, which i am sure will be of immeasureable value (i pray).
^ first of all, speak english. That was tip number 1.

i've given and taken some interviews by now so here r my first hand experiences :D
first thing is self presentation. look good and well-groomed and pleasant. this is more important than we might think. dress semi-formal. wear good cologne so as soon as u enter they can smell the nice smells. :D gel your hair and look crisp and sharp.
second thing is know your resume and qualifications and basically everything about yourself inside out. they should be able to ask you anything about your academic qualifications and experiences etc and you should be able to answer eloquently.
if they ask you technical questions, try to answer to your best abilities. if you don't know the correct answer, admit it but give it a guess.
be yourself. dont have to act fake confident or fake humble. just be yourself, be natural. humility is a good thing but dont overdo it by putting urself down at any point. and dont fake confidence it just comes out wrong.
show to them you want the job and you are interested in it but also keep a level of reserve like you are an in-demand banda in the market and their job is not the only option for u. be nice but make them want u :D
i have a habit of being very nervous about interviews specially if the interviewer is snobby. also have a habit of giving more info out than asked. avoid getting personal. easier said than done but dont get nervous and keep ur answers polite and kindly spoken but to the point :)

i had an intervoo today 
it went great alhamdulillah but at the end the salary they were offerring [which was the maximum they could budget out for that post] was half of my current one :o so i told them i won’t be able to do it. though they said they might employ me on a contract/project basis and asked me if i would consider that 
i couldnt believe they were changing the nature of the job for me felt really flatterred must have been the angrezi i was trying to jhaarofy
