I have an uncle whose pet Gali is ‘Sori Diya’ (meaning, Mother-in-Law’s poodle). My mother in law died 4 years ago, but he still calls me that. What’s up with that?

Madhanee, it's a Karachi slang gali. I may have misspelled in Romanized Urdu. Hang in there, some Karachi Bhayya will come correct me. Koi tau aayegaa, maa kee aant.
