People who sleep fewer than six hours a night — or more than nine — are more likely to be obese, according to a new government study that is one of the largest to show a link between irregular sleep and big bellies ..

So you have to be 7-8 hours sleeper to maintain a good physique.. haan :hmmm:

Although, short sleepers are usually heavy on caffeine and smoke , that cuts down their appetite .. (right?)

I sleep for 7-8 hours and I am fine. :snooty:

But yes, I have seen my dad, who sleeps about 6-7 hours, and is Masha’Allah so active and fit. On the other hand, people who sleep longer are also lazier. I guess it’s a circle of habit…more sleep, more lazy bodily system…dunno???

Either am sleeping less then 6 hours or am sleeping more then 10 as my work timings aint set ..

May be that’s why .. Recently . my weight has been fluctuating heavily …

Gaining or losing 5 to 10 lbs in a month is aint a big deal now ..

i heard sleeping more is good as it helps to burn ur calories..thats why when u wake up u feel hungry after sometime..i read this somewhere but personally i believe the more u sleep the more u turn obese..anyhow jo soota hai wo khota hai..lol...not KHOOTA but he/she loses...

Oh gosh, I need to take this info on board. Only for weekends though (I easily sleep through 12 hours :smack:), school days make sure I sleep about 7 hours though.

I would hardly sleep for more than three to four hours during my university days and yet I never gained weight. :p

On weekdays I can get even 9-10 hours and i feel grumpy or sleepy but on weekends even if i get much less i don't feel so fatigued

i always have 8 hours sleep but for the past few days 4-5 hours:(

3 -4 hrs a day, but still no weight gain… :hinna: ab sona bhi band karNa parai ga.
