Anyone currently attending/alumni of Oxford or Cambridge? Although I am looking to apply to the MBA programs there, it would be good to learn more about the universities/life in the UK.
I am currently completing a Masters at Harvard. I am shooting for a Fall 07 entry date. Any advice would be appreciated.
hustler I did a term at templeton and found it to be an amazing experience. For an MBA though have you considered London Business School? that place friggin rocks.
I was only thre over summer so did not get the advantage of the college life, but of what I saw it was pretty good. now this is before templeton got its new digs so the previous bldg was not the best one it was a temporary shelter at best.
What I enjoyed was the approach there, it a very holistic approach and not piecemeal capped by a capstone class, there are projects that link different courses together, teams from diff classes working on a project bringing their own strength to it and thus learning from each other.

Thanks for the update. I get the sense that strong academic community exists. The interactions with fellow students seem to extensive. Besides the 1 year program, I feel like I have fairly strong US credentials, so the UK MBA will be a unique (hopefully international?) experience.
hustler but u can also do the multi continent MBA that some unis are offering now, and from what I know pretty much any decent mba prog has the option or requirement for its students to spend some time if not an entire term in a diff continent.
Although I have considered spending a semester in another continent, I am not sure if the experience will be sufficient enough to be considered "international." To further clarify, international academic experience would entail an immersion in the business methodologies + possibly in conjunction with an internship/project.
I am not aware of the multi continent MBA programs, are they E-MBAs or traditional? Thank you mentioning them as I will do some more research on them.
I do plan on applying to a few B-Schools stateside. So far I have: HBS, NYU-Stern and Dartmouth-Tuck on the list. I have attended two of three of the Universities so I have a good handle on the academic/social experience. Do you know of any other solid programs in the NorthEast? Perhaps your alma mater?
