How can you figure out when your ovulating? without getting the ovulation kit!
So I have always had a 33 day cycle…but in Jan and Feb it suddenly became a 28 day cycle-maybe coz i had gone abroad in Dec so environment has an effect…im back to a 33 day cycle…
Do I count 14 days after the day I start? or when I finish? -Im assuming thats the day you start ovulating? or is that wrong?
Im clueless on this!! I only want to buy the ovulation kit if I still cant figure it out lol..
Not really Tabu. The general rule is to count the first day of menses as day 1. The 14th day is generally around ovulation time. But it can also be around day 8 or 9 or be as late as day 18 or 19.
There are certain physical indicators of ovulation but they arent foolproof. The most obvious one is an increase in cervical mucous which is the consistency of egg whites. Some women's ovaries become sore around the time of ovulation.
Those ovulation predicter kits are pretty easy to use and much easier in figuring it out. And really, once you get an idea of your personal timing, you wont have to do this test each month.
One quick question : Somedays around mid cycle of the month ... when i wake up , I feel like really warm inside ... I check the temperature but its normal, I do a quick breath check and its pretty normal as well ... once or twice I got hubby to touch my cheek /forhead and tell me if i am warm ... but no .... its just a feeling that I am warm .... could that be a sign that i am ovulating?

Tracking your basal body temperature will also help you. But as Sahar mentioned, make sure you are using a basal body temperature, not the regular one. You can keep track of your temps on a site like fertilityfriend. You can also keep note of changes in your cervical fluid and in your cervix. These three things combined should give you a good indication of when you are ovulating. But remember for the temperatures, your temperature will spike up after you have ovulated, not before. But once you are doing it for a few months, you will geta good idea of your ovulation pattern. Not everyone ovulates on day 14 and especially not if your cycle isnt the typical 28 days. Usually it is 14 days before your next period starts
