Uhm, I have come across many many many many many many desis in my life, and only 1 person had colored eyes…so I don’t think its as common as ppl say it is.

^Agree. I’ve seen several attractive Bengalis that have both colored and dark eyes…most of them dark-eyed. But I don’t think that the feature occurs often enough among the majority of South Asians…for it to be considered “common.”

Hazel eyes are common among South Asians. Yeah you don’t see every other desi with hazel eyes but it is a common alternative to the dark brown that is prominent. Several of my family members have hazel eyes and I have seen many Inidans with hazel eyes as well.
