Overdressed and Underdressed

You invite people and here come people with various choices of attire.

Define these terms.

Which type of people you think are common?

1- Over dressers

2- Under dressers

Re: Overdressed and Underdressed

At most of the events I've attended....the guests are dressed appropriately. However, I have seen more of the over-dressers (though not that often) than the under-dressers.

With the over-dressers, I think that there's a lack of aesthetic balance and harmony in their overall look. There's just so much going on...so that the eyes don't have a focal point...they go everywhere. With the under-dressers....the overall quality may be good....but it just needs a few more things to complete it.

Re: Overdressed and Underdressed

since i am artist so i usually define em either colorful or colorless.
colorful means charming exuberant and colorless means no effort put to look good, no energy.

Re: Overdressed and Underdressed

So a person wearing black and white is undressed for you? :hmmm:

Re: Overdressed and Underdressed

Dress pant and shirt on BBQ event,

Jeans/T-shirt on Ghazal/Mushaira event.

And then, tie/ Bow tie, three piece suit on Eid Namaz! :smack:

Isn’t it painful to see?

Re: Overdressed and Underdressed

next time you see someone in a suit, try to imagine him in a lungi.

and when you see someone in a lungi, try to imagine him in his whitey tighties.

i guarantee you, you will have a different impression of the person.

1- People do not have control on color of skin. But do have control on dress they choose to wear for an occasion.

2- Never mind. Answer will be in appropriate very thoughtful thread thread.
