Its been 3 hours since i got out of the theatre and my hiccups still wont go away.. hiccups i got from the non stop 2 hours of LOL'ing and ROTFLMAO'ing.
Pity the suckers who went for Da Vinci Code instead.

After hearing about it so much, I watched it this afternoon.
It was alright and nothing too special. I've seen better animated movies.
LOL... the highlight's got to be the kid who started crying at the theatre hall when the 'family' was captured by the vermenator (sp?).

It was good, light-hearted and cute ... Maddy was really loud in the cinema and the people next to him got up and moved because of the noise we were making :p

I was cracking up so loud the woman sitting next to me was getting kinda pissed. But later she kinda gave up and started laughing even louder than me lol.
The best was the bullet-time scene where hammy chugs up some caffeine and the world comes to a halt. I was laughing non stop throughout that scene. This movie is pure genius.
If you have been reading the original Over The Hedge comic strip in newspapers like i have you will like this one even more because its like the characters you know so well have all come to life in this movie, especially Hammy.

Watched it and almost loved it. Started out not so hot but got hotter as it progressed. Some of the humor was pure genius. I think I even missed out of some of the references to pop-culture and movies for example "rosebud". I will need to watch it once again.
And you are right cheegum, the scene where hammy is hopped on caffeine is funniest.

Some of my most fav parts as i remember them
Stella (to tiger): "I got makeup on my butt dude!"
Stella (to RJ): "Imma gas you so bad, even your grandchildren are gonna stink!"
Stella (to Vern): "Man what you saying we just drop everything everytime your butt vibrates??"
Tiger: "My perisan name is Tigerius Mahmood Shahbaz!"
Stella: Distract him with what? My stink?
RJ: With your feminine charm
Hammy hears this and bursts out laughing, then covers his mouth and goes "Err was that out loud?"
All animals looking at the hedge they cant decide what to call it
Hammy: Lets call it steve!

Ozzie then bows down to the hedge and goes: Oh great and mighty Steve, what do you want from us??
RJ and Hammy are preparing to raid the girl scouts' cookies....
RJ (to hammy): Now youre going to be a rabid man eating squirrel
Hammy (raises his hand like hes in a classroom): Ooh ooh can i say something?
RJ: Yes, hammy?
Hammy: Umm rabbits are cute and cuddly, they dont eat humans.
RJ: I said rabid not rabbit!
Hammy (pretends he understands but really he has no idea): Ohhhh i see
All the animals are in the driveway by the Lincoln Navigator
RJ: This my friends is an SUV
Animals: Wow this is huge.. how many humans fit in this?
RJ: Ummm usually just one.
And then theres the part where RJ makes Hammy chase the laser pointer dot.. lol hillarious

I loved that scene, but it was copied from an episode of Futurama, where Fry drinks one hundred cups of coffee, the world slows down, and he saves the other characters from a fire
