Re: over sleeping is harmful
Fairly decent contribution to this subject have been written previously. Having long hours of sleep continuously will shoot down the person’s health level, although doing it on your days off or weekends is something that we could shoot for, once in a while, to get that good rest and feel the energy back, and then go to the routine of less sleep and more work. The cycle changes all the time.

the term over sleeping varies person to person ,like for some > 8 hrs is over sleeping for others it's > 10- 12 hrs .....it depends a lot upon one's activity level , body weight v/s height, atmosphere , eating habits and resposibility package that u carry all the time etc etc
i think best solution for that is to set up an alarm clock and don't let yr sleep takes it toll on u.
oversleeping does make one feel tired.if you sleep too long,then your body temperature takes too long to climb to normal making you feel drowsy and tired for several hours after waking up.the best way to feel energised whole day is to have a sound sleep of 8 hours.
