Very sad and tragic, may the planners, perpetrators, financiers all burn in this world and here-after.
Targeting women and children while in a park and those that carry it out and support this think it's in Allah's favor? Who can think they were brought into this life to kill children while they play? Delusions of madmen who prey on the weak to carry out their visceral hatred. Remove this cancer and anything that supports its growth.

Being Easter many Christians would have been there. I was reading some where that 10 people from a family from Sanghar was killed there.

Total failure of the government who thought many years ago that TTP would spare Punjab. What happened to army's operations? You reap what you sow since 1977. It seems nothing is working unless parties like JI are banned. Change the constitution as secular rather than fraud marka Islamic Republic.

Gulshan e Iqbal Park is in the middle of Allama Iqbal Town, where I have spent most my life. Never did I think I'd hear of something like this, who'd attack people going into Parks, schools/universities? This is the second attack in Iqbal Town, the previous big one was the attack on Moon market.

It's not a attack on christians or Muslims or Lahoris, it's a attack on Pakistanis !
Such a tragic incident, innocent life taken, homes destroyed ! We (our govt) need to think who is the beneficiary of such attacks ? the purpose behind it ? it's not as simple as Taliban claiming responsibility there is much more to it.

MUZAFFARGARH: Police have arrested 15 people including three brothers of the suspected suicide bomber who killed over 70 people at a park in Lahore on Sunday.
The bomber was identified as Yousuf, son of Ghulam Farid, a resident of district Muzzafargarh, born January 1, 1988.
Sources close to investigation said the 28 year old bomber was a resident of Muzaffargarh’s Fatah Suhrani area . The three brothers were taken into custody during a raid conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of police.
According to preliminary investigation, the bomber had been teaching at a seminary for eight years in Lahore after completing his religious education in Dera Ghazi Khan.

^ why they dont investigate the vary reason behind the brain washing of this man. Catch the real culprit and ask him ( and all others of similar mentality ) whether they teach kiiling others on the name os islam and hang them openly. First of all should be this hanif qureshi ( mumtaz qadri brain wahser ) Some of these examples will bring them on the line..

While i mourn for everyone who was killed, I especially pray for all those Christians who were killed on such a holy day... This should be a reminder and a catalyst to increase the nations resolve in fighting extremism. If they weren't serious about that National Action Plan before, they better get serious about it now.
And isnt it about time they did something about the terrorist in Afghanistan?
