Is the fax outdated and obsolete now
now everyone owns at least 2 all in one machines at home, that can print, copy and scan - so you can just scan and email .
But that would only work if the recieving party has an email account
Does everyone have an email account now
or are there still people out there who dont even have a single email account

I saw this cutie patootie bootiful fax machine at best buy
and I could immediately see it sitting on my PC table at home
but I really dont know what I will do with it
not really obsolete.. still very much in use for office work..
other than that.. yeah.. email rules
oh and dont forget the fax to email and email to fax service. Where any fax sent to you is forwarded to your email, and you can open it anywhere, without the need of a printer of fax machine
if you get 2 of those fax machines, then you can send faxes to yourself
It is not completely outdated yet. Once all documentation and correspondence goes digital it will become obsolete as typewriters have become obsolete in some societies. Sometimes you are required to fax or send a scanned copy of something to someone to prove something or apply for something.
Fax is still around. In a lot of offices here they are used regularly. That is one thing I hate about when I do work experience, they always make me become the office junior/fax lady:naraz:
However, if you’re not going to use it, I wouldn’t buy it, just so it can gather dust. Extra stuff to clean
