Re: Out-of-the-way Yummies!!!
Oh Gosh…just a Reese’s cups by themselves with a cold glass of milk before bed is sooo satisfying. I go through phases with chocolate. For weeks I’ll only want one particular candy bar and then it’ll change to something else. I’ve been thru the Reese’s phase, these days it’s the dark-chocolate Kit-Kat.
Love good food but never loved it enough to make a special long dist trip

Re: Out-of-the-way Yummies!!!
I burn gas just to get candy from the corner grocery store. I may be worse.
Re: Out-of-the-way Yummies!!!
Oh I burn gas too, you know how far the " corner" is in the US!
Re: Out-of-the-way Yummies!!!
Stop lying, you know you’d travel to the East cost for good sushi

Re: Out-of-the-way Yummies!!!
^I would never go that far for sushi. Desserts, and fried foods and sammies and pastas and curries and Chinese/Thai …sure. Sushi is overrated, imo.
Lol, you got me there.

It’s not. You just have to pick a good restaurant

Tlk, I don’t like seafood apart from shrimp. I think I had either a shrimp or veggie sushi…but I didn’t like the texture. I’m also not that into rice. So, chances of my liking it are slim.
Have you ever gone out of the way…like maybe driven almost an hour to more perhaps…just to satisfy a particular food craving? It could be that you crave a specific donut and that the “nearest” Krispy Kreme is 45 minutes away…or perhaps it’s a candy bar that is only sold at one Target that’s nowhere near your home…or maybe it’s just that one dish and the only dish you’ll order off the menu of distant restaurant.
Share a far-away craving that you think is sooo worth your while to take that loooong drive or (possibly flight) for:
I crave my hometowns burgers so much sometimes I have travelled 3hrs there just for it. It’s definitely worth it ![]()
""Aaze"":Halal gummy bears
Takes around 35-40 mins to get to my halal candy pusher but OMG it’s worth it all - They have such a great range of different gummy bears, thankfully the Mr doesn’t mind driving by on his way home on a regular basis
I don’t blame you. I have yet to see halal gummie bears. It’s almost an hour drive to Apna Bazaar and no gummies.
They sell them at every corner here ![]()
^No!!! Halwa puri and chanay all the way!!! I will get on a plane and go to Pakistan for that.
I would get on a plane and go all the way to Saudi to the city I grew up…to the bazaar that I’ve walked through countless times just to get to a little cafe which serves possibly the best shawarmas ever…that so far nobody else has beeb able to top.
Dubai had the best shawamas I’ve ever eaten and they only cost 1 Durham.
