The question remains.. what was the aim of Pakistan in doing a Kargil. They thought that they can get vantage point against IA. or its just that they wanted to make this an international issue. Or did they want to get rid of some jihadis,who had become nuisance to the country. Or this was an internal politics of pakistan which created such a situation.
Did Pakistan succeed in any of these.. and at what cost. This is the question.
