out of college: would you marry him?

Here's a hypothetical questions for the ladies here, if a guy won the powerball and didn't have a degree and left all his career plans to manage his new found wealth, would you marry him or do you think it's important ti have a degree and a job?

Discuss this bizarre scenario.

The title should be:

“20 something guy wins powerball and drops out of college: would you marry him?”

The 20-something guy who won the powerball and then ended up marrying just proves your luck eventually runs out…

TS, you should read up on the Lottery Curse. Many of the lottery winners met with a tragic end. According to one source, 70% end up broke in a few years.

^ very true @redvelvet

Precisely the reason to marry him, no? :chai:

20 something drops out of college (like Steve jobs) and uses his new found wealth to found a technology giant (like Apple). What about this scenario?

The rules change when there is alot of money on the line

I gotz my own cheddar yo!

But seriously… that kind of thing does not guarantee longevity in a relationship… and while money can certainly ease some issues it isn’t a true determiner of happiness either.

The main point of my question isn’t about the money, it’s about if a crapton of money makes up for no degree and no career, since those things are usually only for making a living but if you win the powerball then you’re just crazy rich lol.

personally I never want to win the powerball, I wanna work for my own money even if isn’t a lot. I feel like if i win the lottery then I couldn’t take pride in my “success” although another point of view is that you could invest that money, donate it, travel the world, help family etc but still i wanna earn ma own doh

i think most girls will choose the powerball winner, a sad reality.

Surely you could reverse the scenario and will get exactly the same conclusion, so go easy on girls tiger.

Not this guy, I’d not marry a rich girl :snooty:

so will say any girl you ask lol

No, girls always say they wanna guy who “has his sht together” aka ballin

he can always put up a shop and say i am a businessman…doesn’t have to disclose lotteryness.

That idea is not far fetched from reality, something similar happened to someone I know. The guy told her he worked at a shoe store, after marriage she finds out he owned the whole franchise and was a millionaire. What are the chances? Lol

women generally want someone who is stable enough to sustain a family, someone with a roof on his head and has a reliable and consistent income, i don’t believe women are in a race to marry the richest guy they could
