there are two issues here
How to stop men from raping women
and secondly and perhaps far more importantly at this time
is to stop the women from killing themselves
how do you stop women who have the stigma of rape from killing themselves?

its not just suicides, some of these cases are honour killings, some time the close relatives kill the victim and claim that she commited suicide.

exactly how do you see that taking effect, your usual political mullah lives in a mansion funded by his mureeds n all, is busy hunting deer and feasting on it with free funded meal courses.
When some kind of mullah is caught due to molestation with a child, they come out and proclaim that someone as clean as a molana cannot be blamed. They cover up their henious crimes with the cloak of religion.
They would rather complain on the religion column in the passport than to focus on more serious issues like rape, molestation and suicide.

India does put rapists to death no matter what their religion. A recent case in Mumbai involved two young men (20 years old), one muslim and one hindu who together raped a 4 year old girl. They both were hanged.

come on pakistan first needs to do bare minimu this four witness thing basically gives peoplelicence to rape.. just ask urself peopl rape in god forsaken places where possibility of being spotted by someoen is close to none so where from those four witnesses are going to come........
pakistani get offended when u point this and they will say usa has more no. of rapes, but pal point is how u tackle this.. rape happens but state should not be supporting perpetrators like pakistan by vitue of that despicable shariah concet of four witness instead they should be helping victims..... and what is wrong with intelligensia I have seen even educated folks like sazia Naz being divrced by her husband just because she was raped...........
