You know, for years our media and even us the people of Pakistan talk about what led to Pakistan getting to the state it is in now. And almost immediately the blame game begins blaming this leader, blaming that leader.
Agreed, our past leaders ’ some ’ not ALL may have significantly contributed to the downfall of Pakistan - but can we bring back time? NO? can we do anything to change what is now history? NO?
So what can we do?
I know I know hundreds of time before me , many people would have raised this same question - but I seriously wonder why nothing gets done. I mean we can spend hours on end, hours in social gathering arguing about Pakistan and it’s state, and criticizing our own country about many things, but how come we cant spend hours, days, months, or even years to work together as a team, as a NATION to make some changes so that the future of Pakistan is bright and some what stable. If it takes years for this change to happen - then let it take years, at least we know we are working towards and end result which is showing some light in the deep long sorrow tunnel.
I seriously put it out there to you all, In Pakistan at the moment, whichever area it may be in, which organizations are there established that include youth or non political people through which minute changes can started to be implemented.
As far as I see it, we jump too quickly to conclusions and want big things changed miraculously over night - let’s be realistic, it will take time. We may not be in control of what our government or corrupt officials do in the big hot seats, but what we as Pakistani citizens do have control over, is making small changes in our way of living, our lifestyle which will contribute if not significantly at least some tiny bit - making our lives a bit better than before.
So my point of this forum is getting some good ideas from you all on small things that we can start doing from our own homes and slowly implementing it in our small communities and then broadening it to larger parts of our community.
