I’m thinking that the wider one is probably going to win provided it is light enough to be put away by my daughter.

As for quality irons…the ones that have a completely detached reservoir for the water are the best.

That’s on my list for Santa.

Chacha jaan X2, I agree with what you said about steaming, but almost any iron over 40 has a feature that gives a steam burst that you can use on a fabric without letting the iron touch the fabric, and it works great. I know because that is what I use on my suits, especially on the sleeves of the coat if it’s wrinkled. I just hang the coat and take my iron and few burst of steam later, it’s done. I dont see the need of a dedicated steamer

Depends on how wrinkled a fabric is, a few creases on a high twist wool suit vs heavily creases silk kurta.

A dedicated steamers usually have a better steam volume output to tool weight ratio.
