I have my hair pulled back from my face with a hairband right now and my scalp is hurting like crazy. The same thing happens when I just normally tie my hair up or brush it two times or three times a day. I guess this happens because my hair is not just sitting there in its natural position lekin why is the pain so bad? It hurts a lot; even moving one strand of hair after it has been in this position is incredibly painful. So my hair is pulled back right now and if i were to pull the hair forward and down over my face it would hurt like a #@&^$*^
Does anybody know what the problem is? I have wavy/curly dry slightly below shoulder length hair. I don’t zap it with chemicals and I never use blowdryers and hairsprays and stuff, plus I use oil. So what’s the problem?
I would've thought it was because you had strong thicker hair? Because the weight of your hair pulling back makes it hurt. When I had really long hair I used to get headaches if I wore my hair high up but not since I've had it cut. So that could be why.
I think your hair folicles are coming to an abrupt transformation at the base of the scalp thereby producing tension in the linear tangent to the mass that is surrounded by the neighboring dead cells which in its own manifestaion to acquire relaxation is pulling strength on your forehead thus causing a severe headache. I think taking off the hairband might help.
yikes i remember having that problem sometimes and yeah it hurts like anything
i think its when u tie ur hair too tightly that that happens
try leaving ur hair loose most of the time or even if u do put it up, dont do it with rubberbands, use crocodile clips and make sure the pull on the hair is not strong
