Any guppies from Ottawa, I just recently got a job in Ottawa, so have to move there, is there a good place to live there where I can get an apartment for less than 1000/ month.

Greetings from Ottawa... I moved here myself almost 9 months ago. What type of apartment are you looking for and whereabouts are you looking (where's your work?).
I'd definitely suggest browsing listings at both Craigslist and Kijiji. That's how we found our current place.
I teach at the University of Ottawa though - so we were looking for an apartment close to downtown, and we didn't quite want to get a house just yet before taking the time to explore the city a little more.

its a nice place. i lived in ottawa for 2 years. was living close to eatons centre n ottawa university. used to be a nice quite place. haven't been to ottawa since 97 when i moved to toronto.
I'll be working in the one of the federal agencies, close to downtown..do you have a rough estimate of the cost.
