^no! Tayyebeh, we are made to have hair on our bodies, including our faces.
Hormones will only help IF you have a hormone problem but then you would be seeing thicker growth even if you weren't touching your face. Being sensitive to testosterone is normal and just varies from woman to woman.
If the hair hasn't grown back thicker yet, you are probably okay. But I think you are quite young (?), so be prepared that as you progress into your 20's you will start to see an increase in facial hair.
dear gina you are not right i have eleven years of experience in this field and the best option is hot wax ,please search on net if u r not convinced but do not give wrong advice to others it is also a sadqa-e-jaria ,wax se skin nahi latakti its strip wax jis se skin sage kar jati hai hum loog moisturize aur nourishment k bajaye skin ko us k natural oil se ripp off kar detay hain jis se skin latak jati hai aur loose ho jati hai ,and for laser IPL is the most successful in removing thicker hair aur laser vellus hair k liye nahi hota .ok
hope u wont mind but its in my nature that i always gave honest advices
But the thing is, hot wax or not, when u apply wax to ur face, u remove it by pulling it of from ur face, rightt?! if the purpose is to remove hair. Hot wax when applied to face, must also be pulled of from ur face, yani keh, u r at the same time pulling ur skin and ripping of the natural oils from ur skin. And pulling ur skin like that on regular bases year after year, can not be good to your skin and u will most likely get wrinkles sooner than expected.
Isi lye kehte hain, kuch paane kelye kuch khona parta hai :-) vanity insanity.
So side effects har method main hain, but u have to decide what kind of side effects u can live with.
As for the laser treatment, one of my friend did it for some years back. She had very thick hair on her face, beard-like, she used to shave the area at that time. But, the laser treatment worked out very well for her. For her, it was well spend money. But, there are also many horror stories out there, ab laser treatment. Can u take the risk, and have in mind that u can live with conseq if treatment goes wrong, go for it. But if not, let it be.

Waxing pulls-out the hair from the root.. there are no chemicals to play with the hair follicle or cause thicker hair-growth. Hair on the chin is usually a thyroid issue.. (hormonal imbalance) and goes away after it's treated.
with finger it is not like pulling like strip any way every body is usinf her own method but u must see a professional for hot wax and please also check that k woh us ko wapis heater main to nahi dal rahi cause is tarha to skin to diseases ho sakte hain hepatitus spreads on the same way as acne or fungal disease ask her to use a clean heater and new piece of wax and one thing more do ask her to gave u ur used wax so u can throw it into garbage yourself to protect others and yourself too.
please girls with thicker hai on face to check out your menstural cycle is regular or not and if so go for ultrasound pelvic to find out that are you having cyst in your ovaries or not that is the biggest cause of thicker hair also steriodal creams and medicine ,(formula creams like archie ,betnavate etc, golden pearl bla bla) all such creams cause skin cancer and also disturb the follicle structure ,you have observed woh larkian jo is tarha ki formula cream use karti hain kitni gori ho jati hain but after some time un ko pigmentation ka problem ho jata hai or chin aur face p thick hair ajatay hain
OH OK :S so once I get older it'll grow back thicker...:( I guess the only thing I can do is to continue threading? I don't know those hot film wax stripes, I used to take the ones from Veet, but they were cold wax.
I know a girl from school told me her friend had laster treatment done on her upper lip, her underarms and even her private parts(!), it seemed to work well for her, but I'm way too scared to take the risk.

I would never give any 'wrong advice' to anyone.. I still beg to differ dragonfly, that waxing over time does u're skin more harm than good. If I don't know anything I don't post.. but I never give anyone 'wrong advice'.
heat 50 grms of gunda broza in a pan until it becomes liquid and crystal clear and watery then add powdered alum one tea spoon and camphur one pinch and heat for 5 minute tah cool down ,it will become rock solid.
whenever u want to use pre heat into a wax heater and stop heating when u saw it starts melting apply a thin film with your finger and dont pull your finger than wait for ten second and pull your finger in opposite direction and repeat if necessary after this apply tea tree oil or mud mask on the place .and wash when dry.
hair will grow late ,delay growth thinner and less hair will appear next time repeat again when full growth achieved. and you will see a clear reduction and good reuslt just after 2 applicattion cheaper and faster way to get rid thick growth.
