Has anyone seen this movie? It won a Golden Globe Award for the best foreign movie this year. From the trailers, looks pretty good. The director is an Afghan, and lived in Pakistan previously, after having to flee the country due to the Afghan Soviet war.
is it the one about the woman who got abused by her husband and has nothing to do with osama?..... or is it the one pakistani one?

Its a Story of the GAL..who want to... Go to School.... and due to TALIBAN rule.. she is not allowed to..
So... She had a GUY's Desgise and... attend the School...
This movie has won rave reviews across the globe. It is the story of a mother and daughter living in Afghanistan during the time of the Taliban. The mother chops the daughters hair off and dresses her like a boy so that she can go out into society and try and make money without being harassed and targeted for being a woman. The daughter is given the name Osama. It apparently has horrendous results for both mother and daughter.
I’ve heard about it…and it’s on general release in the UK but nowhere near me 
This is the 3rd or fourth movie based on Afghanistan almost all of which are in pashto.
Just saw this movie. The story was heartbreaking:( shows what kinda Islam some ignorant Muslims follow.
