Orthokeratology - 20/20 vision w/out Surgery

Has anyone else here heard about this procedure or had it done and were the results worth the money and trouble?

For those who havent heard, Ive read that they make a special contact lens designed for your eye which reshapes your eye while you sleep and the next day you can see w/out contacts or glasses, and that if you wear it a lot and over time, eventually it permanetly reshapes your eye so you dont need to wear contacts or glassses, and you dont have the risks of having to have surgery and all the complications.

More detail. It’s FDA approved, and has a 67% success rate with restoring perfect vision during clinical trials.

But long-term effects aren’t known.

How will we know who the geeks are then? :D

By the halos around their heads :snooty:

(Or is that Cat 5 network cable around their hips?)

Well I still say laser eye surgery is the best thing ever and recommend it to anyone.
