**Moscow, February 1, Interfax - If intensive work is not carried out with the youth, it may be curtains for Orthodoxy already in 60 years’ time, Deacon Andrey Kurayev, a prominent Orthodox missionary, is convinced.
“It is not a prophecy but mere mathematics. We have 60 years left before a Moscow Caliphate comes,** and this is if ‘the weather is fine’, that is, if nothing like a war or an ecological disaster or other such cataclysms happen in the nearest future”, Deacon Kurayev said, speaking in one of the 14th Christmas Readings sections.
At the same time, he looks at the future rather pessimistically. “If we consider the terrible situation in demography and the birth rate decline, we have no choice (but the prospect of a caliphate - IF). Therefore any of our discussions today should be held under the ‘Russian cross’ banner”, Father Andrew insists.
He sees a way for avoiding such a scenario in an intensive missionary work with the youth. ‘We should go beyond the limits of our everyday spirituality. Changes should be made today not in the Church, for everything is all right in it, but beyond its limits. We have to address our children’, he said.
Inshallah wherever the islamic khilafah is established it is the beginning of the end for western imperialism as we know it.
