Orlando Trip

I’m heading to Orlando for a three day trip, out of which I’ll be speaking at a conference for a day, and have about two full days and an evening to go around the city and visit Disney… does anyone know where I can find any package deals for visiting Disneyworld – say if I wanna split my visit over two days etc. (other than those on the official website)

What else is there to do in the city? How long of a drive is it to Miami?

Any suggestions/tips/advice appreciated.

You are going on a business visit so airfare and hotel are being paid for. Now, you need some kind of 'magic and cheap deal' to enter theme parks?. How cheap can one get?

Drive to Miami is 3 hrs.

I have never been to Orlando but I have been told that you can purchase the passes near the entrance of the theme park(s) by people who are selling their passes which are not fully utilized (if someone bought 5 day pass and they used it for one day etc.)... so u can get a good deal in those situations. You might want to confirm this though, this news is years old.

I am visiting Orlando right now. Me and my family got the 4 day pass for Disney. If u get the 4 day pass and u visit only 3 days the last day will last until the next time u visit years later or whenever. There is no pass less than 4 days I think, and the single day tickets are more expensive. Most stores all over Orlando sell the passes or u can buy online.

Hey fg, dunn be too quick in passing judgements yo!
there's no harm in shopping around or shopping "smarter" as I look at it... ask for better deals now instead of feeling ripped off later on.

aah - Chachoo that makes sense... I'll keep an eye out.

AAM yeah, I was gonna go for a one day ticket if nothing else... I think its about 70 bucks.

Thanks all.

First check out the website for Disney World… and then compare their lowest ticket price to this site

http://www.discount-tickets.us/

If you think the discount is worth while, go for it.. else… just buy from the website or at the box office. What ChaChoo is recommending should be the last resort, cz its kinda hit or miss.

Then there were three :)

I am here for a Conference as well. I'm staying at the Sawn and Dolphin within Disney Resort. The rates I am getting are:

$115 for a 2 day Park Hopper (any of the 4 Parks with the nowaitinline option)

$48 one day.

Let me know and i'll get it for you or let me know if you find something cheaper.

^ Interesting. Disney charges $99 for 2-day park hopper in their California parks. They have two here: Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

I am off to CA Disney in few weeks and I have found that you can get the tickets from eBay cheaper... at least for CA Disney there are tons of deals where you can purchase 2 day or 3 day out of 5 day passes that are not used up by the purchaser... basicaly you are sharing the pass with others.... try eBay and see if it helps... good luck
