I was wondering how your experience has been with Origins. If I buy readymade clothes and ask them to alter, will they be able to do it in 3-4 days? (They said they will,but I was wondering if anyone has experienced how reliable they are with the promised time frame). Any other recommendations for a boutique around liberty/gulberg that would do alterations very quickly? Thanks

I love Origins but they never alter clothes? I asked them quiet a few times and they said that only standard sizes are sold here. Maybe the shop you went to has a different set up because these are mostly franchises.
My tailor in liberty never alters anything neither does the other one near my home. :( They all have the same reason that the karigaars charge per shirt so if you want any alteration you'll have to pay for a shirt

Khaadi does alterations and that too very quickly.

Rania, do u know if there is good readymade at nishat linen? my hubby is going in 2 weeks and i wanted him to get me some readymade kurtas. Which other store has readymade kurtas do u know?

You wouldn't need to alter them. They come in all sizes. I LOVE origins. Bought so many suits from there on my visit to Pakistan. The quality is great and their designs are very nice.

Y block dha, mall of lahore, link road and mini market round about. You can also shop at khaadi online and get clothes delivered to your place.

Yes they do, but I don't find their styles to my taste and somewhat over priced. For ready made kurtas you can try khaadi, beech tree, origins, lime lights, ego, ethnic outfitters, gul Ahmad, generation there are others too but these I can think of the top of my head. Low priced ones are being sold in markets like liberty, the very high end would include the ones from sana safinaz, saniya maskatiya etc,
