some ppl just can’t be themselves, and have to copy others…why do ppl do that?? i’ve seen ppl posing to be ME (we are talking talented Mr. Ripley here)…and i don’t think i would’ve really given it a second thought, had they not been sooo unlike me…still wonderin why’d anyone do that?

i didn't mean posting...i meant POSING...as in real life...don't ask how i found out...i did, but a lil 2 late...otherwise i would've confronted him n asked him why did he do that...

Hmmm... even more interesting. What have they 'achieved' by posing as you or what have they been trying to achieve by posing as you?
I mean are they trying to appeal to the opposoite sex? or is it some sort of financial scam?
And if you're in the states then why are you surprised? :)
that's what i am trying to figure out myself malik...why would anyone do that?? sigh

Desi if one takes it seriously then its a bit disturbing because this person sure does have some sort of pshyological problem. I can only guess that this person has a pretty sad or unfulfilled life and wants to be more like you i.e. successful and confident and all that (tsk)?
If its someone you know then confront them and warn them. And if not, then there are laws against impersonating others - inform the relevant authorities. If you ignore it then this person (considering he has a psychological problem) may want to assume more and more of your identity? - it could become more serious with time.
On the other hand this guy may not be a psycho as such and may have more short-term aims i.e. to impersonate you in order to blacken your name?
How long's it been going on?

Malik....You are soooo rite 'bout incomplete personalities and psychogenic problems!!
Desi.....I had faced the same situation a few yrs back,when a classmate of mine tried her best to copy me,in everyway possible,she even repeated the same sentences that i used to speak up.....and later i found out she had some psychogenic problems.....in the beginning i tried to avoid it but that made not much difference,and then i had to confront her on the subject and gradually she left my peecha,Allah allah ker k :)

Do you really think anybody can impersonate anybody else? There are so many unique things about an individual. It's impossible. I noticed once as well that somebody was trying to impersonate me; but didn't give it much of a thought.

well, i don't know why he did it, but he surely made some ppl think somethings bout me that are not true...i can't really explain the whole situation here...cuz one thing lead to another...n that's the thing i am tryin to say, i wouldn't have given it a second thought if he hadn't done such a bad job @ impersonating me...oh well...when i get a hold of him, i surely will ask him why did he do that...but for now, can't do anythin cuz he physically as far away from me as is humanly possible on the same planet...2 bad i learned of it 2 late...otherwise i could've caught him earlier and asked him...oh well...
