Organs

Can I donate 'em by signing a waiver that if and when i die they will be extracted from my lifeless body for the betterment of someone else? Wouldn’t it be sadqa-e-jaria to do so?
Whats the ruling on it? Please no long winded copy pastes just short explanations with reference. I still have to read the waiver itself :stuck_out_tongue:

If your asking whether there is a holy/proper/or blessed way of giving the gift of life to others in a Muslim way? I wouldn't know.

Where I live you sign the back of your drivers license..or make a living will.

Know what I think? I would be happy for somebody to have the use of my eyes, lungs, heart, liver, kidneys if I didn't need em anymore. A part of me would still be living and benefiting somebody else.

Allowing them to live a few more months or years even.

If one is so sick that needs a transplant, and they survive?, God was holding them in the palm of his hands anyway.

Hello,

But I have heard that for transplants..the organs are taken prior to natural death. (not sure if true, but likely)

But when they are taken its because there is no possible way to survive a normal life again for the doner, if the machines were turned off..you would die.

Kinda gross... Kinda a gross job I think, I couldn't do it.

But if there were no hope for me? I would want someone else to have a chance.

Coconut, u raise a good question. :french:

Good topic.

Bone marrow, however, you can donate anytime.

Allah knows best the magnitude of the sawab.

I have heard it is not preferred as Allah wishes to call into account every part of the Inshan, and thus you need all your stuff at death.

I may well be wrong.
