Someone in another thread was wondering how you people find the time to plan outfits. I wanna know too!
Does it have anything to do with the way your closet is organized?

Do you mean for everyday? if so, then normally on a day to day basis when going uni, I literally just pick out whatever I can see lying about that’s clean, put it on and then go. I literally do not have time in the mornings or even the night before to pick out an outfit. Tbh im not really that fussed for ‘dressing up’ for uni. The more casual and comfy for me the better. Although i deffo do not go in sweats! lol
My closet is full of my normal everyday clothes, so even if i randomly pick out a top and jeans/trousers, they will 99.9% of the time match. Other clothes are kept elsewhere.

I pick out my clothes the night before otherwise I fuss over it in the morning and take 10 minutes just trying to figure out what to wear. I typically decide what top I want to wear and then the rest follows, it’s a quick 3 minute decision. My shirts/pants/sweaters etc are all organized separately from each other.
For me, it definitely has a lot to with the way I’ve organized my closet in sections (skirts, dresses, dress pants, silk tops, casual tops, sweaters etc). Unless I have an interview or an important work meeting, I don’t pick out my outfits in advance.

I try to organize my closet the way you do Laiha…with sections for stuff…but I’m finding that I need to have sub-sections…LOL…to separate the work from the casual clothes…
And then I need another closet for the desi stuff…which needs to be divided into casual, semi-casual and formal.
I’m on the verge of wanted to convert a bedroom…

Yes, definitely need sub-sections! I wear desi clothes at home, so the top of my closet has just the everyday desi wear and maybe 4-5 semi-formals for desi gatherings. All the formal desi clothes and off-season clothes are unfortunately in suitcases, due to limited storage space in the closet. I move stuff between my closet and storage every season, which takes quite a bit of time, but it also gives me an opportunity to take out stuff to donate and what not.
Rest of my closet is just work stuff (divided into sections) and some casuals (also divided into sections but because my style isn’t too casual, I can just as easily wear work stuff to dinner with friends and vice versa). I’m an organization freak. If I have nothing better to do, I love organizing other peoples’ closets (lol family of course!) and they hate it! Two of my siblings and my dad are just all over the place and hate having separate piles for things.

yes… if u hv a organized and clutter free wardrobe … picking out fit will be quick.
… i usually hang ironed clothes … in case of going some where…
or just pick one iron it and wear
