Has anyone here ever tried organic products. If so are they worth it, and where can I buy organic cosmetics apart from on the internet?

Yes, i am a firm believer in organic and natural products..i had buying my product from health stores..or health food stores..or sometimes from natural sections in zellers (pharmacy area), walmart, ultramart, A and P etc. I think they are worth it..now i want to go one step further and i want to make my own products..i have collected recipes and have brought some books..and will order some ingredients off net and will use my own stuff.

Lush is a great line....their products really feel great and dont have that 'commercial' feel to them at alll.. Another good organic brand is H2O but they are a little pricey but so worth it because all their products are water based..and for someone who has exceyma...thats a god send!!!!!

Lush can be found in alot of malls and cities across North America..but you can even order from their website I think.. www.lush.com
H2O does have stores all over the world...but they are no in alot of N. American cities..I think you can order a catalog and order from there..... here is their website www.h2oplus.com.... I think by their products...because I have exceyma and it really helps my skin...

Lush products are lovely.....their shops always smell so delicious and I like the way you can buy products like shampoo in bar form. I think the best product of theirs has to be 'Angels on Bare Skin' which is an exfoliating cleanser thats great for even the most sensitive of skins.
Dr Haushka is an organic range which carries a limited line of organic make up too.

I agree with Gummy Bear and Shahreen..on lush..their products are great..and their shops do smell yummy..i love their bath bombs.
amelie, i have seen hair colors that are natural..usually they are made up of different types of hennas. I have seen few lines..but i don't remember their names..i did saw them in health food stores.
