Btw, this reminds me of the (lawaris) dead bodies, that no one claims, which come to the hospitals, let's say in PK, and they are used for teaching/training purposes, what about burial of those bodies? Can anyone shed any light?
These bodies are not usually buried, after the dissection, the bones are given to students to study.
I think its too bad, coz human bodies are not needed any more, all can be done by other means.
^^^ Thanks. That's what I thought too. What about their burial, namaz-e-janazah. even if someone is lawaris, doesn't it become our obligation to offer a namaz-e-janazah for that dead person. This also creates an opportunity to pray for the forgiveness of that soul. esp. when there's hardly anyone to pray for him/her. That's just my thinking.
