...Ordering Food...

Re: …Ordering Food…

Passionate But if you put it that way that you are paying for it and you can make the worker’s life miserable when there’s a mile long line behind you, then it’s ok. I still think it’s not fair even though you are paying for it.

Bizz have you seen anyone take a murghi and slaughter it infront of you and the cook it for you? How do you know whether it’s halal or not? Peechey tape chal rahi hoti hai aur aik banda murghi ki gardan par churee phair raha hota hai. Now don’t say you can still eat it just because the restaurant says it’s halal and it’ll be gunnah upon them for lying. I think we should take precaution here as well. And what if people are not lucky enough to live in canada where there’s a Muslim restaurant at every intersection? What if someone like me is stuck in south where the hurricane has closed the couple of restaurant that were open before? What if I go to an out of town conference? Should I get married and make my wife pack me food in a tiffan that I can carry in the plane and put it in hotel’s fridge?

**Chachu and Sara **refer to my reply to bizz where I mention what if there’s no Muslim restaurant, what if your can’t take food to work, and what if subway is the only place that’s open in that area?

Oh, and I am not gonna lie, I eat from non-halal places. That’s not something to be proud of, but I am not going to life. This post is referring to a young girl at my university who very well knows how to cook. I just don’t understand half Islam. Either do it, or don’t do it. I don’t wanna get into judging her or anything, but on one hand some people take scarves and then on the other hand they kiss the opposite gender and take so many precautions at restaurants
