Now this pink cherry one looks great, the bag and the box is so nice but I am not sure as to why they would sent me a wrong one, maybe on purpose as it might have a defect and returned by someone that they want to get ‘rid’ off. I did a trial on my hair and it did make them silky and straight.
I think the max will still be better as it has a wider surface. But I dont want to risk it sending it back and then maybe getting nothing in return. I am not clear how I will send it back and who will pay the charges.
I dunno what to do?
And do all GHD straighteners have a slight bit of gap when closed?

Awwwww that's sad to hear, please talk to a customer service representative tell them you got the wrong model shipped and you either want the one you ordered or a refund.

I am thinking of keeping it as it made my hair silky wow!!! and I only did a few strokes. Thinking this one will be good for waves and curls also and later I can order the Gold max one as additional.

Did it make your hair poker straight? Ghd does that quite well!
yes poker straight, thats why I did the outer layers only otherwise they would have turned like chinese hair. It was snowing outside today and my hair are still straight. :)

I do :) but yesterday I washed my hair and blow dryed it and omg they turned into afro hair, I paniced as before they were curly and now they were afro curl bush!!
but then I did the straightening with the GHD and they are silky and staight again, so now will my hair be like this allways if I dont iron them :( why no one told me this.

The permanent hair straightening option is rebonding, ghd gives results till hair wash. Depending on how often you wash hair, and then use ghd, your hair will stay silky and straight for three days even more if you don't wash.

I guess maybe this is an issue for curly hair maybe? I have wavy hair and mine has ALWAYS been super frizzy. Heat does dry out the hair so MAYBE your curls are frizzy b/c the iron dried it out?

Is the Price for the two irons the same? If so you can do as you please. If not, then write an email to customeri service with your receipt .. They Will Tell you how to return this one and send you the other one. It never happened to me though, but i assume it is normal. And dont forget to use serum when using iron and dont straight wet hair. Use a good mask in shower as Well.

there is a slight price difference, i should be getting something back, i will writ to them soon, as i have been busy. yeah hoping for some compensation. let see.
