We can see Pervaiz Ilahi's infrastructure vision in the shape of 100s of abandoned CNG stations scattered across cities.

Although orange train line seems to be ill-planned, but don't think PML(Q) had any better vision either.

Why were CNG stations a failure in Punjab? Was there not enough gas?

I know that aside from gas shortages, CNG has worked well in karachi. It is cheap and considering the snail pace nature of traffic in karachi, you don't even feel the horsepower limitations of CNG vs. gasoline.

Not 'not enough gas'. There is no gas for CNG stations.
