Seriously orange lips or lipsticks with an orange base are everywhere on every counter beckoning me. I can’t help but fall in love but it’s a tricky color to pull off. Plus post any safe orangey or coral shades that are universally flattering. Me and my bareek lips want to enter the room together.

A shade that I’ve been seeing quite a bit lately is MAC Morange, which is a bold, rich orange-red shade. I’ve been wanting to give it a go but I’m not brave enough as I think it will look super bright on me. The closest I’ve gotten to experimenting with orange lipstick is Vegas Volt, which is a more subtle coral shade and my go-to shade during the summer.

I've been thinking of getting this but am a bit hesitant as it looks super similar to Watch Me Simmer (limited edition from the Shop MAC, Cook MAC Collection), which I have.

I also wanted to add Saigon Summer. I quite like this shade and am thinking of giving it a try. I think it’s rather like a toned down version of Morange and perfect for summer.

The coral colours I think are absolutely beautiful, don't mind wearing those. Orange om the other hand though :/

I wore MAC Morange for my wedding reception (My lehenga was orange/silver). It's a gorgeous color and as long as you keep the rest of the make-up neutral, it looks great!

I quite like the idea with wearing Morange with neutral makeup. I think it’s a gorgeous shade but am a bit unsure of what to pair it with so that it doesn’t look excessive. I was thinking of doing a retro type of look with winged eyeliner and nude or neutral eye shadow, like this:
and replacing the red lippy with Morange.

I clicked on this because I thought it would be about the show, but I suppose awesome lipstick shades are cool too. I'd like to see an orange shade closer to red because light lipstick doesn't suit my skin.
The Morange looked amazing on you!!! You carried that whole look so well.
I remember Clinique used to have this burnt orange shade, it was so perfect on my skin tone, I wore it at my mangni…it’s been discontinued and I haven’t found anything like it since

The pics you posted will work. For my wedding, the MU did black liner and the shadows were silver/black in the outer corner with a slight HINT of orange in the crease.
P.S. That happened to me with a eyeliner. MAC Shade gel liner was one of my favorites but they discontinued it years ago and I have not been able to find a replacement.

I think orangey shades look gorgeous on desi skintone. Paheli I wanna see your bridal look. You don't see desibrides every day rocking orange.

i have vegas volt lipstick by mac, very pretty color. i tried Morange at the store, i really didn't like it on me, was way too bright.

Saigon Summer is very pretty. I don't think I can pull of orange lipstick because I have strong yellow undertones. And a bold color like that would require foundation even more to pull the look together...and I hate wearing foundation. :/

I’m on holiday and am currently in Dubai and bought a couple of things in the past couple of days that I wanted to mention:
— Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Lipstick in 15 Extreme Coral – This shade is a bright red coral that has a bit of shine and is perfect for evening. I’ve only worn it once but so far I quite like it as it is quite pigmented and is very creamy, almost like a lip balm.
— MAC Pro Longwear Lipglass in Whoops – This is a soft shade of coral that is similar to Vegas Volt but with a bit more pink in it.
These aren’t lipsticks but go along with the orange/coral idea of this thread:
— MAC Powder Blush in Modern Mandarin – In the pot it looks quite orange but is more of a subtle coral on and has a soft sheen without being too shimmery. It’s also quite buildable.
— Topshop Blush in Head Over Heels – This shade is a pretty coral pink that has the slightest hint of shimmer. It’s quite easy to blend as it applies like a cream blush but dries to a more powdery finish.
Edit: Yesterday I forgot to add this:
— Topshop Lips in Oh La La - This shade is more of a pink coral. It’s quite subtle but is buildable and can be layered for more of a bright coral colour. I’ve worn it with a bit of clear gloss over it and looked nice and summery.
