  • You took for granted all the times I never let you down*

Re: options after undergrad..

Its not common to get an Associates degree after a Bachelors. Most people would rather go for graduate study or work after college.

Maybe you should consider taking a few courses at FIT or interning for the summer before deciding. When are you graduating?

Re: options after undergrad..

I'd certainly suggest at least a couple of years of work experience after your undergrad... possibly in an area similar to what you're considering for future studies - it really doesn't help to continue school without a clear vision about what it is that you wanna invest your time pursuing.

Re: options after undergrad..

Umar ultimate dream would be to do something in fashion and maybe a few classes at FIT would help in achieving that, either learning the basics on how to stitch, fabrics, drapery , not to mention a few bzness courses. I’d like to learn some finance and/or business but my school doens’t really offer anything in terms of finance major other than an Accounting degree which, if I did, would keep me in undergrad for an extra 3 years :halo:

Law school is just something to fall back on if i lose interest in fashion (though I doubt it).. and if i do get a law degree i WILL practice it. Right now I just dont c any career path for an English degree.. :hinna:

Am i being realistic ??

Re: options after undergrad..

Have you tried talking to career advisors? maybe they could help you? just a thought

Re: options after undergrad..

What about doing something for the community you live in ? There is so much you can do on a volutary basis.
