So what are they? Well, illusions trick our minds into seeing and perceiving something differently than to how it actually exists, therefore what we see and take in does not match up to the physical reality. You’ll also find many illusions where you will perceive one thing, but another person will perceive something totally different, all from the same picture.
One of the most popular examples of this is illustrated in the following image:
Did it work for you? Well, there is no green dot, not really. And the pink ones certainly don’t disappear. It’s all about perception and this proves the fact that we don’t always see what we think we see.
Isn’t it amazing how our brains work?
Feel free to share any optical illusions that you’ve come across!

Stare at the four black dots in the center of the image for 30 - 60 seconds. Then quickly close your eyes and look at something bright (like a lamp or a window with sunlight coming through it). You should see a white circle with an image inside it.
The natural optical illusions are the best … for years people said Wadi jinn in saudi was a place haunted by jinns and that they pushed the cars out of their territory … so many people still drive up there and shut down their cars and wait for the jinns to push their cars out of the mountain … really funny stuff about this on youtube !
there are a couple of wadi e jin videos on youtube. The place does looks mystical although not sure wether the car thing is true. There is a place in Uk to where the car thing happens
