I don't think oppression is the sole cause of current uprising in the arab world, it's something else. Democracy and freedom have never been part of Arab culture, they like to be ruled by strongmen who can bring peace and order by force.

is it really about freedom and democracy??? more than 80% of the population of arab pop is illiterate, they dont care about democracy! it's a farce! it's a controlled destruction of the regimes the evil empire implanted... that is all that's happening. nothing more and nothing good
