Well they clearly missed the chance…the IK, who flew from UK to take part in the session, where he could have questioned PM on the subject…just walked out and just did some press conference…
It is muk-mukka at best, they just gave PM a moral authority and IK standing behind Khursheed Shah during presser shows where he actually stand in Pakistani politics..
Poor show by opposition…things they were stating in press conference could have been said in Parliament, right in front of PM, forcing him answer or run away…but instead they decide to be coward and ranaway…
Today, opposition have officially burried the panama leaks issue…till PMLN does a blunder and give new life to it..
In weeks time budget season will start followed by Ramazan and flood season…till then Panama leaks will be water under the bridge…
Yea why in the world would they walk out? They luv to do things on media rather than assembly floor. And in the end its govt who is benefiting but either opposition doesnt realize or if they do, they have no sense on how to deal with it.

As for Imran Khan's stunning speech in Parliament House, where he grilled the PM and forced him to either answer the allegations and point raised by Imran Khab or Resign...Mian Sahib opted for 2nd option...the whole NA and nation pushed IK to take over Premiership of Pakistan, Gen Raheel Shareef, The COAs have requested IK to become PM of Pakistan, Putin of Russia, David of UK, Modi of India and rest of world are ready to fly to Islamabad to witness the oath taking Ceremony... Everyone was there when suddenly sound of bombardment came and disturbed IK...
And then somebody was about to break the door, Imran Khan woke up and said, oh shyt, i must not smoke that shyt anymore...
It was a bad and misguided move by the opposition to walk out at such an opportune moment. In PTI's defense, PTI had wanted to speak, but succumbed to the pressure of the joint opposition. Perhaps they felt it was better to present a joint opposition rather than go it alone. But nonetheless, Nawaz Sharif gave the opposition a soft lob, and opposition was in a prime position to fire a volley, and they chose to let it drop.
Media is right. Nawaz Sharif won yesterday. Now the opposition has to restart from a few steps behind.
The longer it is delayed, the more tired the public will get, and the more it will lose steam. Prolonging this issue is only helping Nawz Sharif.
He’s a Noonie, even if Nawaz Sharif farts, he’ll be the first one to say master stroke by Mian Saab, opposition is knocked out, just like he was saying the same when NS made JC of retired judge followed by nonsense TROs which predictably got rejected by SC. Even a blind & deaf person could have seen that coming.
So much for summer & Ramzan rhetoric, Aitzaz Ahsan has rightly reminded everyone that movement against Musharraf started in summer, the anti rigging campaign too was prepared in summer and Ramzan.

If IK have any thing substantial, then he should go to ECP and SC and get NS disqualified...but whatever he have maybe good for his blind followers but cannot be presented in court of law or Parliament or to ECP... I dare him, he'll keep talking and thats about it...in years time it will be elections time and all he'll be having is rats for the people of KPK..

Imran's speech was not going to televised and Noon League speaker had already banned mobile camera recordings of Parliament debates. They truly are worse than dictators and the danger to democracy in Pakistan.
I feel PTI should've spoken, but I reckon at this point, putting up a display of joint opposition is more important over speaking up in a censored Parliament.
I wouldn't say the pressure is off, the opposition is meeting right now, and the they appear quite committed to their 7 Questions demand.
I think instead of settling for some committee and wasting six months, the opposition is looking to drag the issue long enough to turn into an ultimate election campaign. It's the idea of deadlock they're looking to cash.
