Opposites attract?

to give more credence to the opposites attract theory, its interesting to note that te probablity of finding exact oppoistes, is like 360( 1/360)(1/360)=1/360 in degree probability, (easier to visualise). or 100(1/100)(1/100)=1/100= 0.01
1/360 or .01 have your pick.

having said that, its kinda obvious that opposites attract is a lyaman's way of saying that very obvious traits of personality, like introversion or extroversion, exuberaance or composure, agay khud bana loa.........are no impediment to bonding; these may just be more noticeable traits of character, but obviously not the defining features of it, in terms of simple numerical weighted quantification of character, on a scale of 360 or 100 (choose either).
u might be opposites in obvious maters, like race, religion, introvert or extro, even careers, but tere is always a common bond somewhere. whatever migt happen u wont find a socialising corporate success, married to a taxi driver, neither an orthodox clergyman married to a romance expert psycholgist.

for somebody still unimpressed, i am bewaring u, i can come up with more complex maths in a multiplicity of number systems.

Depends on one's personaility. There are people who like to have same kind of partner as themselves. Some like to see entirely opposite traits. Some just a part of their nature. Depends on an individual taste. Cant have a standard opinion.

yes, opposites attract. look at ron and hermione.

^^ lol. Yeah.

The opposites attract theory only works if you're someone who loves an exhausting relationship where you work at the relationship and still go in opposite directions.

A common mindset with differing characteristics would work I think.

I think this phrase may apply only when you find someone bearing a trait/quality you admire/desire but lack yourself. A kind of a completion process.

Good girls do not always go after bad boys, that happened perhaps in the 1980s when the good girls were merely oppressed girls, but aaj kal, the mind set is thus, the bad boys are the lay abouts, the losers and the druggies.

Hiccup, I was joking when I wrote that. I thought my Grease example would have shown that. :p

Realistically, what you say is right. It used to be the case in the 40s till around the 70s or maybe a bit earlier than that when bad boys were mere rebels, but it isn't really the case anymore.

or maybe *I’m * the bad girl

No not really, it just shows how girls can fall for gay guys. Yes dancing around in tight black clothes with a squeaky voice and a ton of grease in a stupid hairstyle is gay even if it was John Travolta. :p

Well isn't falling for a gay guy a case of opposites attracting? :p ... :p

Do they?
For example, if you are a hyper, outgoing, active person..would you like to see similar traits in your partner? Or would you rather see someone who will bring a calming influence to your life.
I somehow disagree with the opposites attract theory…What do you think?

Opposites attract nothing but misery.

LOL ^

I dunno. If you are totally opposite then i think it's a bad thing. You have to have SOME things in common otherwise you'll end up finding yourself alone.
