Opinions from Australia.

The following is a link to a newspaper run blog where readers can make comments. I warn you, so far, the average joe is not impressed with Pakistan’s conduct.

I’m sure there are many of you who would like to set the record straight and vent some anger at the same time, so if your up to it, feel free to let them know our side of the story by participating in the blog. (or just reading some of the comments)

And i know, there is a temptation to swear your a$$ at some of the responses on the site, but remember, constructive criticism works better!

God Save us
we are doomed not even 1 (One) (Uno) white guy is in Pakistan's favour.
Without white support our decision counts as nothin no matter how brave it was. At least the Icc commentrating panel was on our side

Re: Opinions from Australia.

Here's what I just posted on that website. Lets see if the moderator there posts it or not:

*Ok, first things first. Half of you guys don't even know what the real issue is here. No body cares that Pak lost the game. The real issue here is the fact that the Pakistani side got called for ball scuffing even though Hair had NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER! How would you feel if you get fired from your job in front of your entire office for looking at pron even though you were just checking you e-mail? Completely humiliated I presume. Are you just gonna take your stuff and leave your office thinking that "Meh...he's the boss afterall. He called it the way he saw it, even though he was wrong". I seriously doubt that. So before you go preaching us your dogma, at least get what the main issue of the matter is.

Secondly, the fact that Hair and Doctrove made the decision to kick in the 'ball tempering' rule with no evidence is completely outrageous. If for nothing else, they should be fired for jumping the gun like that. To compare this blunder (and for all the lack of evidence of ball scuffing, its VERY safe to assume that this was a blunder after all) with a blown LBW call is ridiculous (btw, I'm choosing to ignore that topic for the sake of time constraints). You are not accusing someone of cheating when you refuse an LBW appeal. By accusing someone of ball tempering is absolutely humiliating and should not be taken lightly. Would I have preferred to watch the entire game unfold and see Pakistan take one game out of four against England? You're danm right I would. But when it comes to defending your own dignity (which was very much at stake because of the accusation) winning or losing became secondary. Inzi's decision not to leave the locker room might have caused a "dark day" in the cricket world, but at that point, it was far beyond just cricket. I'm a huge baseball fan and matters like that do arise in baseball as well. Thankfully, the baseball world supports everyone who stands for themselves and their teammates (eventhough the league might penalize them). Inzi's decision to stand up for himself and his team mates was the best thing that anyone could have possibly done. Hats off to you Inzi.*

Re: Opinions from Australia.

Man, that entire blog thing is filled with ignorant, racist australians. I'm not even going to bother posting there anymore. No one should care what a bunch of australians think about this issue. I don't even know why I posted the comment that I did last night. Its a waste of time honestly. Half the people there are pretending to be some sort of enlightned buddhas or something when we all know that if such a thing happened against australia, they would all be calling for the heads of English officials and what not.
