My mom was the opposite. She would love each outfit and not helpful at all 
But she didn’t like the simpler outfits I liked and I sort of wish I had gotten a simpler outfit that I could have worn again. But my outfit was beautiful so its all good 
OP- I love it! Will your nikkah be at a masjid? Or hall?
