I am going to get my Nikkah done this year but my rukhsati will be a separate function. I want to wear something like this : Timeline Photos | Facebook
With sleeves and dupata. I have asked them for a price quote but they haven’t replied yet. I really like this one since I want to wear a typical bridal outfit on my rukhsati and want something like a gown or a long frock for my nikkah :wub:. It’s going to be a pretty big function so will it look good? Any other ideas you have? I am really lost since I don’t know much about designers. I have been just looking at the bridal weeks :bummer: please give me some suggestions! :halo:
I personally think you might want to keep the Nikkah outfit a bit toned down as in colour wise and save a vibrant for the ruksakti, these are some ideas, I am seeing a lot of taupes/peach/corals this season, you can customize to your preference i.e long/short sleeves etc. something different to consider…have a look. The very last one is Nadia Ellahi
Oh yes i am not even going to get a hint of red/maroon tones get in my nikkah dress. Thats reserved for rukhsati lol! Really like your choice royal gala. I am waiting for them to put a quote on it then I’ll see if its affordable to get it made from them or if I should think of other choices/a replica. I showed to my mum and she was like mehh haha. But I just can’t set my mind on anything else. I can get it made in a coral/peach color I hope they don’t quote a crazy sky rocketing price like two lakhs lol.

Love the choice! It's a great nikkah outfit. Beautiful colour and simple enough work but still very fancy and bridalish. Please let me know what they quote I am curious as well.
Op, i like the dress you’ve selected and think you should keep it for your nikkak as it’s not over the top but still makes you stand out as the bride and can be worn in the future. Go for it. :k:

My mom was the opposite. She would love each outfit and not helpful at all :(
But she didn't like the simpler outfits I liked and I sort of wish I had gotten a simpler outfit that I could have worn again. But my outfit was beautiful so its all good :)
OP- I love it! Will your nikkah be at a masjid? Or hall?
Haha aww! Well I am getting married in family and then would be moving abroad. So its all caos as of now! Someone is wanting the whole wedding to take place foran. Someone is suggesting lets do the nikkah first. And since its all family, its all about discussions lol. Meanwhile I am searching for clothes for every possible option :DBut it'll be a hall definitely!
