is it a farshi gharara? how long is your shirt- mid calf, knee length, etc? i’ve seen ajars with long shirts and they look fantastic too. an ajar is basically a gharara but unlike the gharara, there is not “gote” anywhere, at the knee or midcalf. its just really wide legged pants. is there no sample in the store you could try on? that really would be the only way to tell what would look good on you, to be honest.

No, its going to be a lehnga with a long a line shirt. The shirt’s length is mid calf. And no, they didn’t have anything ready, not even a single piece in this style.

And does that mean that an ajar is like a sharara? Because a sharara also has two ‘legs’ but no gote, I was shown one at Barkat Ali. By the way, they have really nice sari’s, very elegant, and the price range was like 14-20,000 pkr for those that had got comparatively less ‘kaam’ on them. I liked one a lot and couldn’t find anything similar anywhere else, so I guess I’ll go back and buy that one, inshaAllah

So I guess, I’ll just have to pray that it looks good on me, tried my sister’s a line shirt yesterday that also has a 32 inches wide ghaira, and my Ammi said it looked good, so I hope and pray that the bridal dress also looks good on me, Amen.
