first of all... i'm no programmer. i don't claim to be one, nor am I trying to be one. By trying to avoid learning php, perl, whatever, It should be obvious that I have no dreams of being one either. calling me 'code god', I don't know where that came from ...
secondly, if an article on IBMs developer site is an unrecognized article on an unrecognized site, i don't know what recognized is.
I don't need to prove that XAMPP is easier to use than installing/configuring Apache,MySQL, Perl, PHP. It is obvious to anyone with an IQ of over 20.
I use this as a backup to google. I didn't find what I was looking for there, so I asked here.
I'm not a graphic artist. I like computers, and when I have time, I try to learn new things. I was interested in learning how to make online survey forms, manage users, invites, data, store responses in a sql database, etc. Basically the whole thing.
People at apache.org and php.net maintain their packages for a certain group. I don't belong to that group. I'm not running any website, nor coding anything. It doesn't concern me. The only reason why I found XAMPP was cuz I tried to use apache, and it seemed too much effort for something too little.
ok, so after going through a lot of pages, I found a fix.
basically, : needed to be changed to a ; in a config.inc.php file
ini_set("include_path", $cfgPathToLib."/pear:".ini_get("include_path"));
replace the colon after pear with a semi-colon:
ini_set("include_path", $cfgPathToLib."/pear;".ini_get("include_path"));
if worked . i setup a new user, etc and then i logged out to log back in as the other user, and its blank again ...
Is that because you uneducated morons failed to argue with me on technical points?
I have proved what I said.
tsk! you should feel shame for your ignorance.
