what do you think of lehngas or shararas with long shirts that are open in the front…like a jacket? do you think it takes away from the look of the entire lehnga or does it work well on a person besides models…can people please post pics of a few different outfits in that style?

They look great when the person wearing them is standing up. The bride has to sit on stage and it doesn't look nice when the two sides fall apart. If you think it doesn't look odd and you can manage that, then please go for it.

^ it wont look strange if its a lehenga/gharara, but it might not be comfortable if its pants/shalwar, i think.
I think it looks gorgeous ...just make sure the shirt isn't overly done so that it comes out stiff and odd
