I’m so freakin gullible it’s unbelieveable. I’m so sick of myself. Why do i fall for everything, why do i believe everything???
Once Sadi Sobi had me on her tail for a couple of days believing she fancied someone on GS…i hounded with ‘leme have 3 guesses’ pms…and she in the end felt sorry for me and told me it was a joke
Now, for the first time, since all this fiance business, i thought it’s time to be assertive and blasted finace via sms/ email…and it was a joke n he’s like ‘huh!!!’, what you going on about !!!
Mannn, is it me or is it everyone else too? Do you guys fall for just about anything?
See, i’m in such a frenzy rite now i can’t even type a coherent paragraph..
My fiance cracked a lil joke via sms, me being gullible me, was shocked to the core so i sent a particualrly nasty sms back and emailed a huge blasting email…only for him to reply with a ‘dohhhhh, can’t blve u took it so seriously’ email…
Anyways, that’s just an example…WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY am i gullible :sigh: WHYYYYYY are people gullible.
Only with certain friends, who are known to be joking around, it's the other way around for me.
When they say something serious and really mean it, I tend to turn it down as a joke. And later when I find out, that the person really meant it, I feel kind of bad. Sometimes I don't even find out and remain in doubt, whether it was something serious or not, as especially one particular person talks in the same way in both cases.
DD, don't be so hard on yourself.
It's a bit embarassing but you didn't hurt anyone, that would be worse.
So what, you feel a bit silly, but how does the other person feel?
Your intentions were good, that's what counts.
I am extremely gullible DD. I never question what people say and automatically believe everything. I take everything at face value I guess.
Recently, I called up my friend and when he answered, he started going on about how he was surprised that his phone was ringing in the Dominican Republic since he was vacationing there. He then called me an hour later saying that he was on the beach while chatting with me. A few days after that, upon his arrival, he called me complaining about how cold he found the Toronto weather compared to when he was in the Dominican.
I never questioned anything he said and believed he truly was in the Dominican. He then told me that he was joking, was never in the Dominican but went along with the story cause he knows how gullible I am and he finds it entertaining.
I always believe everything people say. However, in your case, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You were exchanging messages over a cell phone (right?). Corresponding this way can lead to some misunderstandings. It is perfectly natural. I highly doubt that your man thinks any less of you for telling him off. In fact, I'm sure he found it amusing! :)
I used to be just like u DD… i guess i learnt my lesson … … but now its like i do my use my head .. whenever m in a situation like that … i do try to figure out who can crack a joke n who cant … ah well… mayb its just the way i see people now … .. trust me.. i was no different like 3 yrs bak
