Ooops! We did it again…something similar to this happened before but not as bad… read on. It’s a no no.
It happened yet once again. In our store, where I work, we also have a photo counter in which people drop off their films to get them developed. Now every now and then a picture turns up which has to get my approval because we’re not allowed to give nude/etc sort of pictures back to the customer.
Anyway so this one man comes in, his names Wayne Peterson. Drops off the film and says that he will be back within a few days to pick it up. A few hours later a lady comes in and drops off her film to get it done within an hour which is no problem cause we offer that service. She comes back to pick up her pictures and one of my friends asked her, “What’s your last name, maam?” She replied, “Peterson.”
Without checking the slip # which is given for every envelope, he gave her the wrong set of pictures. They’re categorized by last name so that’s why we ask for the last name and your suppose to check it with the little slip that comes with your order. I don’t know the ladies first name but her last name was also Peterson. She paid at the counter and started going through her pictures…
All we hear now is, “OH MY GOD!” “I’m GOING TO KILL HIM!” “THIS IS OVER!”
As she was leaving the store yelling from the top of her lungs she threw all the pictures down on the floor. We started picking them up and were like, “Okay, this lady must be on crack or something.”
Upon closer view though, we realised what was happening. The pictures she was looking at was of a man with another women who happened to be the guy who dropped off the films earlier, Mr. Peterson.
