Re: Only Whiskey Distillery in Muslim World Defies Prohibition
Why would the isalmic republic allow production of whiskey? I personally know no muslims who drink alcohol except my friend Gul and Jabbar and Mehmood and Nigat and Feroz and Fadi and ... oh well just too many to remember.
Somebody said something once on this forum.......i liked it and i'm posting it here in answer to your question.
"I will not take one wrong to justify another wrong though."
Re: Only Whiskey Distillery in Muslim World Defies Prohibition
hmmm......as far as i know they are necessary.
just give me a web-link or something that shows harms to human body caused by sugar and salt, also if they are more harmful then intoxicants.
Re: Only Whiskey Distillery in Muslim World Defies Prohibition
lets not talk about harmful effects of this or that..because then I can whip out research that shows positive effects of red wine, and positive impact of some alcohol consumption, or positive effects of even some weed consumption..
alcohol is not allowed to muslims so mulsims dont drink it..
others who do not follow islam have a right to drink it, who are we to stop them?
cant go around forcing our views on others.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Ibn `Umar said that the Messenger of Allah said,
(Ten matters related to Khamr were cursed. Khamr itself was cursed, whoever drinks it, its server, seller, buyer, brewer, who asks for it to be brewed, whoever carries it, whomever it is carried to and whoever consumes its price.) Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah recorded this Hadith. Ahmad recorded that Ibn Umar said, "Once, the Messenger of Allah went out and I went out with him. I walked to his right, but Abu Bakr came along and I gave way to him, and Abu Bakr was walking on the Prophet's right, while I was walking on his left. ThenUmar came along and he was walking on the Prophet's left, since I gave way to him. The Messenger of Allah then found a leather skin hanging containing alcohol, so he asked for a knife and ordered that the skin be cut open. He then said,
Khamr was cursed, and so are those who drink it, serve it, sell it, buy it, carry it, have it carried to them, brew it, have it brewed and consume its price.)''
Re: Only Whiskey Distillery in Muslim World Defies Prohibition
it is that muslim's decision, not yours or mine.
niether of us are forcing him to take that job are we?
No, we aren't forcing anyone to take this job but we should not be supporting other muslims to do forbidden acts.
Pakistani government should not allow any muslim to do work in a brewery or in any other place where they serve alcohol. Nor government should make any money out of it.
