cant sleep.
anyways I am sure u people wont mind as I am in very shocking state of mind rite now and really cant believe whats happening.
I have recieved an email from the College and am told that my application is unsuccessful becuase the higher degree department does not consider it to be suitable.
I am SHOCKED. 70% of my Master courses have direct link to the course I applied for and I was going for my second masters in same field.

Lekin perhaps you’ve noticed your problem already:
Top universities usually have reservations about accepting students in programs similar to what the candidates have done before because they feel that you’re not going to bring any value w.r.t. expansive backgrounds they may be able to get from other candidates… and would rather give scholarships to more deserving students.
On the other hand, if you applied to a professional self-funded program or say a tier-two university, they’d have reservations because they expect you to get exemptions for a lot of coursework and hence they won’t benefit financially.
Re: Only read if …
yup thats may be the case but just havea look at this from their website regarding who shud attend the course
The course aims to equip new earth science graduates with the necessary academic, technical and personal transferable skills, which are essential for the modern petroleum and allied service industries, and which are also desirable prior to embarking on more focused PhD research programmes. The course is equally suitable for young professionals already with some industrial experience but who wish to broaden their range of skills and to enhance their personal development. Course participants comprise a mixture of new graduates and young professionals from the UK, from other European countries and from many other parts of the World.
