Only Girl In Family

Ladies those of you who are the only female in our family, hows it living among brothers.
Do you feel life would be different f you had a sister?

Re: Only Girl In Family

I envy them :hinna:

Re: Only Girl In Family

I envy ppl with sisters!!!

I've always wanted a sister!!! Growing up with a bunch of guys can have its advantages but I always felt that I missed out on that close friend that I could share everything with!!
I also missed out on the clothes sharing....cat fighting...name calling.... :(

Re: Only Girl In Family

I always wish I had sisters and (more) brothers. I'd probably been less selfish, less bewaQof, less uhmmm...everything.

Re: Only Girl In Family

I would be willing to give one of my sisters away for free if anybody really wants one. They steal your make up and wear your shoes out and then they cry when you catch them in the act. Silly girls!

Re: Only Girl In Family

*yeahhh i wish i had a sister!! and i feel i missed out on loads!! *

Re: Only Girl In Family

masha Allah i've 4 sisters ... :)

Re: Only Girl In Family

I have a sister. I assure you. There is nothing to envy.

Re: Only Girl In Family

I always dreamed of having one, but Allah gave me many sisters' in different ways who do not live with me :)

Re: Only Girl In Family

I LUV having an older brother and no sisters. In fact I wish I had more older brothers. Having an older brother is the absolute BEST. He spoils me rotten, takes me out and always looks out for me =)

I guess I never really felt the absence of a sister because I have a lot of female cousins my age.

She knows my pain!

I have a younger one and I feel bad for those that don't have a younger sister! They're adorable..they can be you're best friends if you let them borrow your heels and earrings too.

Having a brother and sister is both fun and annoying in their own kinda of way. Alhumdolilah I m blessed with a sister and a brother. As much as i thank Allah for such great siblings, sometimes I even wonder why were we born in the same house. The best thing about htem is that you have them always around, no matter WHAT. And guess what? Thats the worst thing too. :mad2:

Re: Only Girl In Family

i have only brother and here in germany i only have cousins(male).so i used to belike boys in the way of talking and dressing up etc.and i wished that i had a sister. but then my bhabhi came and i started being female.and sometimes it can be good too.you are only girl and get everything you want.its like this with me.i get everything i want and everyone revolves around me ;) and when my nieces call just me phuopho it feels special.so know i dont wish i would have a sister.and my brothers are likely sisters because i can mostly share everything with them.

totally agree!

Willing to trade sisters for brothers :)

HAHAHAHAHAHA Too funny. AT times I do feel like Milly. But then again sometimes I really do enjoy having her around. And it is also convenient when the two of us are able to gang up/defend each other to our brothers! lol

I am super super super envious of any girl that has older brothers though!!!! The girls that have that wonderful choti sister/big brother relationship in their life are so lucky. I do not even have older guy cousins :( It would be so nice to have someone to dote on you, take you places, and protect you.

i have 3 brothers and no sister…i stop wanting a sister when i was like 9. My girl cousins who have sister, wuld fight over everything, had to share everything. Not me, everything i got was mine to keep

i didn’t mind building doll houses with my brothers and thn burning them :mad3:

Life wuld be SOOO different if they weren’t ard. When i first started high school…none of the desi guys wuld talk to me cuz they were that scared of my brother :frowning:
they didn’t knw my name…and refer to me as “____'s sister”

Re: Only Girl In Family

Growing up with brothers can have its advantages (ex. developing a love for sports) lol, but growing up I really wanted a sister! It would be nice to have that special companionship :p (those of you with sisters are very lucky indeed..spme of you just don't reliaze it)
But in a way my mom sorta filled that void, cause she had me when she was pretty young, so we can suprisingly relate alot to each other... but the ironic thing is that I always get ppl asking me..."Malika is that your sister??" Which can get quite annoying!! My mother loves it! :P
